A friend and I have been writers all of our lives, and have become e-mail pals over the past 6 months. We discuss everything from politics to education, family history, our own memories, and concerns for the future. Our children, and her grandchildren are most important in our lives and we wish them all of the best. With than in mind, we have agreed that I may post our conversations for the rest of you to read.
